​The Taste of Tel Aviv Food Festival takes place ever year in the city which is known for its diverse population, and thus diverse and exciting culinary scene. Over the past ten years or so, the quality of food in Tel Aviv has risen to make the city among the best in the world. The Taste of Tel Aviv Food Festival is a celebration of the city’s food culture and the 2012 Taste of the City, Tel Aviv Food Festival will take place between May 14-17 in the Ganei Yehoshua Park.

The Taste of Galilee Food Festival is an annual food festival taking place during the Hanukkah holiday in the region around the Sea of Galilee and Jordan Valley in the north of Israel. The amazing culinary history and culture of the Galilee region will be on display during this food extravaganza, with special local creations featuring on the menus of many restaurants in the region, whilst events, workshops, markets, classes, tours and the appearance of some of Israel’s top chefs makes this event a very tasty proposition indeed. In 2011, the Taste of the Galilee Festival will take place between December 21-31.

Hamshushalayim is an event series that takes place in Jerusalem during the first four weekends in December. Returning to the city for its seventh year, the series offers the public an amazing array of events at cultural institutions in the city with museums and tourist sites opening free of charge to the public and tens of free or very affordable music performances, street theater, musical. exciting night tours, and concerts across Jerusalem. The Hamshushalayim series will take place in 2011 on the weekends of December 1-3, December 8-10, December 15-17, and December 22-24.

The annual Jerusalem Beer Festival will take place in 2011 on the 31 August and 1 September at the Old Train Station on Derech Hebron (Hebron Road) in downtown Jerusalem. This is the seventh time the annual festival has taken place, and the organizers have this year planned an event to remember with 100,000 liters of more than a hundred beer brands from all over the world will be offered, ranging from local micro-breweries, to mainstream international brands. In addition, the festival will see performances from some of Israel’s top bands, great food, and displays of the process of beer production.
