Enrique Iglesias is performing in Tel Aviv on May 31

Enrique Iglesias has been added to the ever-growing list of top music artists performing in Israel this year. The Latin singing sensation will be performing to the masses on June 1 2011 at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv. Enrique, is the 35-year-old son of Julio Iglesias and is one of the most popular singers in the world with countless Spanish and English hits to his credit.

Iglesias burst onto the music scene in the mid-1990s, and by 1997, had sold 17 million Spanish-language albums and won the 1996 Grammy for Best Latin Performer. That was only the beginning, however, because when he began to release albums recorded in English, beginning with 1999’s Enrique, he became a global phenomenon. Since then, he’s alternated between English and Spanish albums, but last year released his ninth record, Euphoria, his first bilingual album, and another blockbuster.
