The Jerusalem Citywide Performance Series features dozens of performances taking place across Jerusalem during the winter months. Jerusalem-based theater groups such as Psik, the Jerusalem Theater Company, Mikro, Incubator, Hulegab, Koom Koom, Flamenca and more, will bring their theatrical talents to community centers and performance halls across Jerusalem for an amazingly affordable price of 25 NIS per ticket. The series will be taking place in November and December, 2011, and early January, 2012.

The Citywide Performance Series is part of the Jerusalem Foundation’s continuing efforts to accelerate the cultural activity in the city and introduce our talented artists and their original, critically acclaimed work to ever growing audiences. The program will premiere new material and long-running plays alike to community centers at Gilo, Har Homa, Morasha, Kiryat HaYovel, Kiryat Menachem, Givat Masua, and East Talpiot, making them accessible to all by offering them at especially affordable ticket price of 25 NIS per ticket.

“The Citywide Performance Series establishes a dialogue between our artists and new audiences, enriching the city’s cultural landscape and expanding its cultural consumers audience base,” said Eyal Sher, Director of Culture at the Jerusalem Foundation. “The series is set for fall, continuing and building on the successful and jam-packed summer of culture,” said Sher.
