Reggae legends Barrington Levy and Alpha Blondy will be in Jerusalem for the Zion Reggae Festival which returns to Israel in August 2012. Barrington Levy has been a figure on the world reggae stage for almost forty years! The Jamaican singer has released almost 30 albums. He will perform at the Zion Reggae Festival alongside Alpha Blondy, who often sings about Jerusalem in his lyrics which stretch over a thirty year career. The Zion Reggae Festival will return on August 28, 2012, taking place in the Sacher Park in Jerusalem. Tickets are on sale now.

Tickets for the Zion Reggae Festival cost 110 NIS in the pre-sale and then 130 NIS and are on sale via Eventim.
The 2011 Zion Reggae Festival featured Bob Marley’s son, Ziggy Marley, who wowed the Jerusalem crowd and proved that this unique festival is a key part of Israel’s summer music calendar. It is set to draw hoards of fans from across Israel, and will be a major success.
